Husband and Wife Team Marcus and Sanaa have been hosting Moroccan surf camps for over 6 years and now own and run one of only a very few which is fully registered in the country.
Combining the best of Cornwall and the best of Morocco they are able to create a truly original surf and holiday experience. Unlike many surf camps, Marcus and Sanaa are able to give you the real Morocco – Sanaa’s family still lives a few doors up from the African Spirit villa, and Marcus has transferred his obsessive knowledge of Cornish surf spots to the local Moroccan beaches, reefs and points: If there’s a wave, he’ll find it.
Staying with Marcus Sanaa and the team means you are part of the local community – African Spirit is firmly routed in the town and you can’t get to the end of the street without waving to ten people. So whether Marcus is guiding surfers on a trip to find the wave of the day, or Sanaa is giving Moroccan cooking lessons, you can be sure, above all, that you’ll feel like you’re among friends.
