…Nearly all visitors to Morocco head south to the famous waves around Agadir, missing out on some of the most consistent, quality surfing areas in the Northern Hemisphere. Having a more northerly aspect, it can be head high here, when down south it is flat "Stormrider Guide"
Although there is a burgeoning local surf community, the breaks in the north around Rabat and Casablanca tend to go unridden during the working week. As a result our guests are able to ride some of the finest waves in the world without having to contend with the hordes of other wave riders that will be experienced in the Tagahzoute area.
We have a great variety of waves to suit all abilities and the conditions (to many to list). The african Spirit team always know whats working and when its working.
We are situated in a pretty crescent shaped sandy bay between Casablanca and Rabat. The sheltered beach break on the beach (2mins walk) works in nearly all conditions and is ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers. Right out side the villa we have a little reef which is perfect for those that can already stand through to the advanced surfer (its mellow but super fun). At the northern end of the bay there is a great point break for intermediate and advanced surfers. This turns on the goods at low tide and is best 3-8+ feet. At mid to high tide we then have the option to surf the beach breaks or if your a bit more experienced there is a great reef just two minutes up the road.
Additionally, we can drive out along the coast to variety of waves to suit your ability and the conditions, including more beach, reef and point breaks.
